2 Timothy 2:15 says: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” Each of us are to be like the Brean Christians in Acts 17:11 who received the word of God will all eagerness, examining the Scritpures daily to see if the things being taught were true.  Each of us must be a student of the Scriptures so that we will grow “to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, and no longer be children tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, and by crafty deceiftul schemes of men.” Ephesians 4:14
