Lead Pastor
Brother Mark is the founding pastor along with his wife Janet of Chancellor Christian beginning in November, 1988. The church has had a challenging history, as there have been many hurdles to overcome along the way. But this has occurred so that it might be evident that our strength comes from God and not from us. Even though Mark holds a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Indiana Christian University, he likes to quickly point out in regard to this that churches are often dying by degrees. He is the lead pastor and also gives himself to preaching and teaching. He and his wife Janet have 3 children with one being married and three grandchild. And they have unofficially adopted eight grand children.
COL (Ret) Thomas W. Britt
Pastoral Elder
Brother Tom is a Pastoral Elder at Chancellor Christian Church. Tom teaches an adult Sunday School class, facilitates the Christian Marriage Class, and, together with his wife Judy, directs Lots of Living Left (LLL), a ministry to seniors of our church. Tom has also been commissioned to perform Christian counseling for our church and is currently providing counseling for our fellowship. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Wake Forest University and a Master’s Degree from Marymount University. He and his wife Judy have four children and seven grandchildren.
